The ones people ask first
No. The calendar is part of it. Trellis also keeps the tasks, decisions, Sunday meeting, and all the stuff that never really belongs on a calendar.
No. One person can start. It's better when both of you use it, especially for the Family Meeting.
No. Please don't. Start with your week. Use the other parts when they're useful.
Some of them, maybe. That's not really the point. You can keep using the tools that already work for your family. Google Calendar connects now.
What you put in stays in your account. It isn't sold, and it isn't training data for any AI, including Cy's.
Not at launch. Trellis is built for the adults running the household. Your kids are part of the system, but they won't need another app or login.
About the product
Your first week. Most families feel the difference after their first Family Meeting. That's running well. The deeper stuff (how you talk about money, the rhythms your kids grow up with) is building well, and it compounds over months and years.
Trellis is designed for whatever your family actually looks like. The Partnership pillar (designed for two adults) becomes optional. Everything else works the same. We'll add specific single-parent tooling as the community asks for it.
Cool, you still got a family. The kid pillars stay quiet. The Partnership pillar, the Time and Rhythms pillar, the Money pillar, all of those work for couples without kids, blended families, multigenerational households.
Yes. Both adults, separate accounts, same household. Both of you see everything (except the parts that are intentionally private to one parent, like sealed partnership notes).
Any modern browser, on phone, tablet, laptop. Designed mobile-first because that's where most of you actually live. Native iOS and Android apps coming in 2027.
Only what you put in. We don't scrape your email, your texts, your calendar history, anything outside Trellis. What's in your account stays in your account. Not training data for any AI. Not sold to anyone. Yours.
About Cy
Four things. He organizes what you capture, gets the Family Meeting ready, remembers what you decided, and helps you follow through on it. He works only from what your family has shared with Trellis.
Yes, Cy runs on Claude from Anthropic. Wrapped in a voice layer we built specifically for him. He doesn't train on your data, ever.
He reads it inside your account to give you useful observations. He doesn't store it for training. Your family's information doesn't make some bigger AI smarter. It makes Cy useful for you, and only you.
Tell us at hello@trellis.family. Every Cy response runs through an automated check for voice and accuracy before you see it, and we're constantly tuning it. The fact that you noticed something off helps us make him better for everyone.
Yes. Settings, one toggle. You'll lose the proactive observations and the Family Meeting facilitation. Everything else still works.
About billing
Yes. One click from your account settings. No save attempts, no surveys, no friction. We want you here because Trellis is working, not because we made it hard to leave.
Nope. Pay monthly at $25 or annually at $250 (saves you $50). Either way works.
Yes. Pause for up to three months at a time. Your data stays put. When you come back, everything's exactly where you left it.
Yes. Email hello@trellis.family. We have a small number of scholarship spots every quarter for families who'd benefit but can't swing the price. No application essay required.
About the company
Remi and Kendra Sobomehin. Three kids, one kitchen in East Palo Alto, two voices on a podcast. I'm the founder and CEO. Kendra has the PhD from Stanford in Education. Read more on the Made By page.
Faith-respectful, not sectarian. The Family Meeting closes with “one prayer or one sentence” because we know some of you pray, some of you don't, and Trellis works for both. Our family happens to be Christian. Yours doesn't have to be.
